The Art of Sound is hosting artist Miguel Osorio October 18 and 20 as he unveils “The Gathering”, an exhibition that explores diversity in our society and reflects on modern day events like 9/11. The collection spans more than 25 years of Osorio’s work.
Miguel Osorio was born in Barcelona, Spain and grew up in Lisbon, Portugal where he began his studies in fine art. His mother was a performing artist and his father was a movie director. Osorio primarily works in oils and pastels,
“The use of bold colors represents the tones of my homeland – the bright blues for the skies and oceans, the vibrant reds for its passionate people – all of which is reflective of my thoughts both past and present,” Osorio said of his work.
