The Life and Death of Latisha King

The Princeton Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts presents the 2018-19 public lecture series inviting former postdoctoral fellows to discuss their current research. The first lecture will be by Gayle Salamon, professor of English and the program in gender and sexuality studies at Princeton.  Salamon was a Fund for Reunion-Cotsen Fellow in LGBT Studies and member of the 2005-2008 Society of Fellows cohort. She will discuss her most recent book The Life and Death of Latisha King: A Critical Phenomenology of Transphobia, and the centrality of interdisciplinarity to her research of the murder trial at its center. Free admission, open to the public.
