The monthly meeting of The Women’s College Club of Princeton will feature as speaker Jim Hecht, the interim library director and adviser to the board of the Princeton Public Library. He will weave some of his experiences that go back to 1973 with today’s public libraries, including Princeton’s public library. He will give some thoughts about the public library of the future. Jim Hecht is a certified professional librarian who has a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in library and informational science from the University of Pittsburgh. He has extensive experience with strategic planning with many libraries in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
