Concert with David Brahinsky “The Spiritual Poems of Leonard Cohen”
Saturday, December 3, 2016: 7:30 – 9:30 pm $15
Most everyone is familiar with Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” a deeply spiritual song that reaches deep into our hearts. Cohen has written dozens of songs that do this as well, each in its own way, some with a sharp edge, some with a soft brush. The songs, like all great poetry, touch us and transport us in a mysterious way.
David will sing many of these songs ccompanied by two backup singers, Noemi Bolton and Nancy Hamilton as well as by Guy DeRosa on harmonicas, Phil Mcauliffe on bass and Noemi on banjo/uke and guitar.
Originally scheduled as part of our 20th Anniversay celebration events as David has performed concerts Princeton Center for Yoga and Health since the first year we opened, this has now been changed to a memorial event for Leonard Cohen.
