The Women’s College Club of Princeton monthly meeting

October 16, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Free

Helen Goddard, who holds a geology degree from Cambridge University, will be the featured speaker. As an educator she has taught at the International School in Geneva, Switzerland and at a 6th form College in Cambridge, U.K.   Locally, for many years she has taught a course at Evergreen Forum. Geographers seek to answer questions such as what is a Dutch polder ? Can Uluru really be an old delta? Or Why has the Appalachian trail been extended to Ireland? Helen Goddard will talk about understanding the world around us and focus on a few of the many world-wide geographical features that geologists find interesting or baffling.
