Tom Shelton’s Children’s Choir in “Lost, Then Found’ musical

Fifteen children will lead the worship service when they present a musical composed by their director, Tom Shelton, at Princeton United Methodist Church (PrincetonUMC) on Sunday, February 24, at 10 a.m. “Lost Then Found,” Shelton’s collaboration with Camilla Pruitt, is based on three parables – the Lost Coin, the Lost Sheep, the Lost Son.
Shelton, director of Children’s and Youth Choirs at PrincetonUMC, is nationally known as a composer and director. He is associate professor of sacred music at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, associate director of Princeton Girlchoir, and national president of the American Choral Directors Association. Pruitt is director of music at Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntsville, Alabama.
New singers are welcome to join the choirs, ages 3 through high school.
