Lawrence township resident and 2015 Princeton University alumna Katie Welsh (Lawrence High School Class of 2011) will appear at Trinity Church’s One Table Café on Friday, September 16th, at 6:30 p.m. Her performance and a three-course dinner are free and open to the public. You can make dinner reservations by calling (609) 216-7770.
Katie is a singer specializing in musical theater and the Great American Songbook. She recently made her debut in the New York cabaret scene. She performed this past June in Manhattan at Feinstein’s/54 Below (known as “Broadway’s Supper Club”), and she has had additional engagements at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre, the Metropolitan Room, and the Princeton Club of New York. For her senior thesis at Princeton, she created “Women in the World of Sondheim,” a one-woman cabaret exploring twelve female characters from the musicals of Stephen Sondheim.
Now in its sixth year, dinner at One Table Café is offered at “pay what you can”. Dress is casual, children are welcome, and net proceeds benefit the Trinity Church Hunger Fund.
