PMUG’s Program Director and past President, Khürt Williams, will demonstrate the features of Apple’s latest operating system, OS X 10.10 “Yosemite”.
Code-named “Yosemite,” 10.10 can be freely downloaded (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/os-x-yosemite/id915041082?mt=12) and has many new features. Khürt will give tips covering everything from the checkbox you may have overlooked in System Preferences to that one tip that makes your workflow better.
Learn how to make and receive phone calls on your Mac and send text messages. Create e-mail on your iPad and finish up on your Mac with Yosemite’s new Handoff feature. Share files between your iPhone, iPad and Mac with just a bit of drag-and-drop action. Learn how to send large files with MailDrop. These are just a few of the many juicy tips Khürt will share about Apple’s latest operating system.
