Why Is It Too Far To Walk? Building a Climate-Friendly Princeton

December 19, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Can we connect our neighborhoods to jobs, grocery stores, schools, libraries, parks and gathering places? Can we preserve neighborhood character and ensure all Princeton community members have access to safe, affordable, low-carbon transportation and housing? Join Sustainable Princeton for a discussion about building a climate-friendly Princeton.

In September 2017, Sustainable Princeton announced they were awarded a $100,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop a climate action plan for Princeton. Strategies under consideration for the climate action plan will be discussed during the program.

Light refreshments will be served. All events are low-waste. The program is sponsored by NRG Energy, Inc.. The Princeton Public Library is a partner.
