Winter Sowing Workshop

January 20 • 12:00 pm

Jugs 2

Itching to get your hands into some soil? Join Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands and Master Gardener Lynn Grillo for a hands-on workshop on winter sowing, a technique for growing seeds outside in winter using recycled jugs as mini-greenhouses. We will learn the technique, prepare some jugs and plant seeds for native wildflowers for everyone to take home and grow. Bring work gloves and a utility knife (box cutter) if you have them.

Pre-registration is required at https://fpnl.org/?page_id=2988. The workshop is FREE to FPNL MEMBERS, otherwise $5 fee for supplies (soil, tools, jugs and seeds). Limited to 20. If interested, please let us know early so we can include you. Call 609-683-0483 for more info. Help us spread the word.
