Young Adult Empowerment Summit to Inspire and Equip Future Leaders

Princeton, NJ – The free and highly anticipated Young Adult Empowerment Summit is set to take place on March 29, 2025, at Princeton Theological Seminary (64 Mercer Street, Princeton, NJ 08542). This transformative event sponsored by Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church (WSPC), will offer young adults an opportunity to engage in dynamic workshops, cultivate meaningful connections, and explore spiritual practices in a supportive and empowering environment.

Workshops will focus on Self-Discovery, Building Community, Spiritual Practices, and Interfaith Dialogue, providing participants with practical tools to navigate personal growth and social impact. The event will feature a keynote address by Rev. Danté Quick of First Baptist Church Lincoln Gardens, an esteemed leader known for his powerful message of faith, justice, and community empowerment.

In addition, the summit will include workshop leaders Martin Whitfield an experienced leader with a history working in sports, marketing, community development, Rev. Eric Dobson a faith leader who preaches sermons focused on love, equality, and justice, Rev. Maureen Gerald a counselor, coach, and spiritual director at Princeton Theological seminary, and Toyi Ward is a screenwriter, producer, and author of books, blogs, movies, television, podcasts, and online media content.

Attendees will enjoy a continental breakfast and a catered lunch as part of the summit experience. Additionally, a $200 cash prize will be awarded to the individual who brings the most guests, fostering an atmosphere of engagement and collaboration.

Rev. Dr. Kenneth Ngwa, Pastor, WSPC, a leading voice in interfaith leadership, expressed his excitement for the event: “The Young Adult Empowerment Summit is a vital space for the next generation to explore their identities, strengthen their communities, and embrace the power of faith in action. We are creating an environment where young adults can grow and lead with purpose.”

Tracy Eskridge, Elder, WSPC, highlighted the significance of the summit: “At a time when many young adults feel disconnected and are seeking meaningful ways to engage with their communities, we wanted to create a space for them to come together, discuss the issues that matter most, and explore ways to give back.”

Two young adult summit organizers also shared their enthusiasm:

Harper Joseph, Young Adult Organizer:
“This summit is more than just an event—it’s a movement. We’re bringing together young leaders who are passionate about making a difference, and we can’t wait to see the impact they will create.”

Winston Delk, Young Adult Organizer:
“Our goal is to inspire, uplift, and equip young adults with the tools they need to thrive. This is an opportunity to build lasting connections and strengthen our collective voice for change.”

The Young Adult Empowerment Summit is open to all young adults ages 18-30 eager to engage in meaningful dialogue and personal development. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a transformative experience!

Additionally, the event acknowledges the deep historical significance of event sponsor Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church, a cornerstone of the Princeton, NJ, community. Founded in 1836, the church has long been a beacon of faith, justice, and resilience, particularly for Princeton’s African American community. Throughout its history, it has played a crucial role in advocating for civil rights, fostering leadership, and supporting social justice initiatives. The church remains a symbol of perseverance and a vital space for community-building and empowerment.
