DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Summer at Strawberry Festival\, May 30 & 31 and June 6 & June 7 \nKick off Summer with Strawberry season on the farm. Join us on Saturday and Sunday\, June 6 & June 7 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. – a weekend party to celebrate these plump and juicy berries. Treat your family to a berry fun day! \nChildren will enjoy fun all around the farm. Special for this weekend take a wagon ride around the farm 11am-3pm. Play on the tractors and playhouses. Say hello to the barnyard animal friends. Enjoy children’s games and activities. Don’t miss the hippity hop corral\, rubber duckie race\, hop scotch\, apple basket bean bag toss and much more. Take a pony ride around the pasture.  Have fun exploring the farm with a scavenger hunt. A day full of activities at the Strawberry Festival! \nSpecial Craft Activity – Celebrate summer with hands-on fun children’s craft activities.  (Available for an extra charge.) \nFun shows each day! Animal shows 1:30 -May 30 & 31-Unique Creatures\, June 6&7 Snakes N Scales – be amazed by the wild animals! NJ Bubble Parties will also have two shows each day. Be dazzled by bubbles of all shapes and sizes! Listen to live music by favorite local bands as you enjoy your lunch or farm fresh snacks. Bands play 12pm-4pm each day. \nPam’s Strawberry Buffet features farm fresh treats for lunch\, refreshing snack or dessert. Hamburgers\, pork sandwiches along with traditional hot dogs and mac & cheese are on the menu. Try hand scooped strawberry ice cream\, strawberry slush and strawberry rhubarb pie.  The Wine Orchard under historic apple trees will be pouring Terhune’s award-winning red\, white and fruit-based wines by the glass. \nAdmission to Strawberry Festival is required (age 3 and up). SUMMARY:Kite Day
DESCRIPTION:Kite Day is a perfect time to explore the farm during this spring festival — Saturday\, May 2 & Sunday\, May 3\, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Spring on the farm is one of the most beautiful and exciting seasons.  All is ready for the bountiful growing season.  Bring your own kite or choose a ready-made kite from the wide selection in the store.  Or better yet\, make a “guaranteed to fly” kite.  Whichever you choose\, take your kite on a test flight in Terhune’s wide-open 10-acre pasture with all the farm animals looking on. \nThe farm will ring with country music and entertainment all weekend. The sheep will be shorn on Sunday and the children can take home a piece of real fleece. On Sunday\, Princeton Morris Dancers will perform traditional May Day dances. There will be live music 1:00 – 4:00 pm each day. \nThe Handweavers of Bucks County will be providing demonstrations and selling their handiwork 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on both days. There will be weaving\, spinning\, basketry\, rug hooking\, and felting. See how these crafts are made and take the amazing artisan works home! \nSpecial for this weekend\, take a wagon ride around the farm 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Take a pony ride. Join in the fun of old-fashioned games and children’s activities in the barnyard\, such as Hopscotch and hula-hoop the horse. Kids will have a great time playing on the farm\, including Terhune’s special children’s play houses\, the Junior Mechanic Shop and Little Tots Farm Store. Don’t miss taking a hop in the Hippity Hop Corral or taking a duck for the Duckie Races. \nFor all those hungry kite fliers\, there will be lots of good country food. The whole family will enjoy Terhune Orchards’ famous apples\, cider\, donuts\, pies\, country chili\, hot dogs\, fresh and grilled asparagus\, salads\, soup and all kinds of cookies and goodies. \nAdults can enjoy a visit to the Wine Orchard\, where Terhune’s own 18 varieties of wine are available for tasting under the 100-year-old apple trees. Tasting flights\, wine by the glass\, and wine slushies will be available to toast Spring. \nThere is nothing like spring on the farm. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arrival of spring at Terhune Orchards’ Bunny Trail Spring Festival\, held Easter weekend: April 4th & 5th from 10 am to 4 pm. This family-friendly\, non-competitive event invites guests to follow a treasure hunt through the blooming farm\, ending with a prize and an optional bunny craft activity. \nHave a great time playing on the farm- children can enjoy a variety of activities\, including: visiting the hippity hop corral\, pony rides\, duckie races\, and the tractor play area.
