SUMMARY:Small Bites: An Acoustic Tasting Menu
DESCRIPTION:An eclectic mix of four 30-minute musical sets reflecting a variety of genres and styles. We offer you a taste of each – just enough to leave you wanting more! \nLINEUP: \nPhiladelphia roots/blues artist Antar Goodwin blends soulful storytelling\, slide guitar\, and hard-won life experience into songs that feel timeless and deeply human. A former NYC sideman who’s worked with artists from Sting to Lauryn Hill\, Goodwin emerged from a life-changing medical emergency with a powerful original voice rooted in blues\, Americana\, gospel\, and soul. Backed by Bigger Beast Records\, he’s quickly becoming a standout presence on the independent roots scene. More at antargoodwin.com. \nThe New York Times named Judy Kang “most likely the only musician to have worked with both Pierre Boulez and Lady Gaga.” Judy Kang has established herself internationally as a solo violinist and chamber musician in the classical world as well as featured guest artist and prominent collaborator in the world of pop\, indie\, jazz\, and hip hop. A member of the acoustic trio of Academy Award winning film composer and groundbreaker of electronic music\, Ryuichi Sakamoto\, she has toured Europe and Asia in sold out shows and have released two albums on the Decca label to much celebration. More at judykang.com. \nNigerian pianist and composer Digba Ogunbiyi interweaves West African Yoruba rhythm with jazz and classical traditions. A recipient of the Steinway & Sons Piano Proficiency Award in Nigeria and a Doctorate from the Eastman School of Music (where he received the Ray Wright prize for artistry\, dedication\, versatility\, and entrepreneurship)\, Digba’s music explores themes of identity and self-expression. More at digbaogunbiyi.com. \nEliza Rush is a Pennsylvania-based singer-songwriter whose deeply personal songs explore resilience\, reinvention\, and the messy middle between where we are and where we’re meant to be. Blending powerful vocals with intimate storytelling\, she draws audiences into experiences that are both personal and universal. Her three albums reflect an artist continually deepening her craft\, and earlier this year SiriusXM placed 12 of her songs across seven channels. More at elizarushmusic.com.

SUMMARY:Aesop Romp! The HVStage Kids’ Show
DESCRIPTION:An interactive musical storytelling experience\, this splattering of fables is designed to joyfully introduce children to live theater.  The show will change week-to-week\, so you and your little ones can enjoy it together again and again.  Coffee and treats available for purchase. \nStudies show that children exposed to live performance from a young age are more likely to incorporate creative practices into their daily lives and show higher levels of confidence and open-mindedness. They even become more innovative problem-solvers. Set your child up for success! \nRecommended for ages 4+ (younger children are also welcome as long as their adults are prepared to attend to their needs). SUMMARY:Seeing With Artists Eyes: Princeton Culture Safari
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this very special fundraising event. Proceeds help support the Anne Reeves Artist-in-Residence program as well as our many outreach initiatives. \nSeeing with artist’s eyes makes the familiar both fun and inspiring on this multi-sensorial exploration of Princeton’s Nassau Street and Palmer Square.  \nA Culture Safari is an eye-opening experience that consists of exploring the street scene\, edgier shops\, alternative stores\, and cafes (where we will be tasting some hidden gem menu items!)\, while incorporating our tracking skills of slowing\, looking down\, and expanding perceptions to generate new insights and creative thinking.  \n“Information grows much faster in ‘hot spots’ where the thought of one person builds on that of many others. So\, where is the right place to be? Choosing the wrong environment will probably hinder the unfolding of creativity\, however\, occasionally a single experience of awe provides the fuel for a lifetime of creative work.” – Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi\, from his book “Creativity: the psychology of discovery and invention”  \nYour Guide\, Mikel Cirkus : As a modern anthropologist and self-proclaimed itinerant semiotician\, Mikel wades through the noise of society to find the signals that could dictate the next big consumer trend of tomorrow. SUMMARY:I Get Wild plays Talking Heads
DESCRIPTION:I Get Wild has been interpreting Talking Heads music since they formed in Brooklyn in 2016. They have performed electrifying live sets with The Hold Steady\, Guided By Voices\, and Thank God For Science.
