The first session will survey the information that can be gathered about Jeremiah from the pages of the Bible itself; the second will follow his memory across later ages: what did later communities of Jews seek to learn from him, and how (if at all) did they try to apply his prophecies to their own…

A coach bus will leave the Jewish Center at 8:30 a.m. for a docent tour of the RBG exhibit at the National Museum of American Jewish Heritage in Philadelphia, followed by a buffet lunch at Front Street Café. The bus will return to TJC between 3 and 3:30 p.m.. Space is limited, so reserve early. Open to the community. $75 for Jewish Center members, $95 for community members.
