Montgomery friends Allie Martin, age 12, Alexandra Kosmatis, age 9, and Emmy Stenull, age 13, held their own food drive to stock the food pantry at Chubby’s Luncheonette in Hopewell Borough. The girls created and distributed flyers around their neighborhood, then walked around with wagons and collected the items from generous neighbors. In one day, they collected 487 items. The girls unpacked and stocked the food pantry (with a little help from their parents). Chubby’s has delivered 3,000 meals, including hot meals and Thanksgiving food, to local people in need.
