Some Princeton residents who are scheduled to have their trash picked up on Thursdays still had full garbage cans over the weekend and on Monday.

The town’s trash collector, Solterra, is experiencing staff shortages due to the increase in COVID cases and has been missing trash collections in some areas due to the staffing issues.

Officials anticipate that the company will make up for missed trash pickups by the end of the day Tuesday.
