YWCA Princeton announces 2022 Tribute to Women honorees

The YWCA Princeton will host its 38th Tribute to Women Awards on March 31. The event will be held virtually due to the pandemic.

The annual gala highlights women making a difference in their communities and industries across Central and Southern New Jersey through their work, advocacy, and volunteerism. The YWCA Princeton commemorates Women’s History Month by celebrating Honorees who advance and embody the YWCA mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.

The 2022 Tribute to Women Honorees are:

Ka’Neda Bullock of the Master Plan Investment Group

Reina Fleury of Penn Medicine Princeton Health

Leyda Flores of Asociacion Calidad de Vida

Tara Lavin of Pink Ribbon Softball

Kendra Lee of the Mercer County Board of Social Services

Cynthia Mendez from Arm In Arm

Business leader Michelle Meyer-Shipp

Community volunteer Jeanette Timmons

Lisa Wolff, head of the Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space

District 16 Senator Andrew Zwicker, winner of the Man of Achievement Award

“No one does this work and expects to be thanked for it,” said YWCA Princeton CEO Tay Walker. “Many of our Honorees do the work that they do or volunteer for the causes they are passionate about simply because they want to make a difference—it’s instinct. But that’s even more reason to celebrate them.”
