Verizon Wireless Princeton 5G virtual public forum set for Feb. 9

Verizon Wireless will be hosting a virtual public forum to discuss its plans to upgrade its wireless network in Princeton by developing small cell nodes in the public right of way. The small cell nodes will improve the municipality’s telecommunications infrastructure by delivering increased data capacity, providing faster connectivity speeds, and improving the overall public safety communication options by delivering a superior wireless network to Princeton. Small cell nodes use low-powered cellular technology that operate within the existing telecommunications infrastructure and are designed to improve specific areas where customer high usage demands are best served, and where 5G technology will benefit the community. Small cell development utilizes existing and new right-of-way structures designed to blend in with the current utility infrastructure.

Verizon Wireless will be hosting this virtual public forum on Feb. 9, 2022 at 6 p.m. This forum will be available for everyone from the public to attend via the video conferencing service Google Meet or by telephone. Verizon will also be happy to answer any questions during this time. The virtual link and call-in number for the forum is:
