Princeton ‘No Kings’ rally set for March 28

Indivisible Princeton and the American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey will co-host a “No Kings” rally at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Monument Park. The event is one of hundreds that will take place across the country.
The event is part of a series of demonstrations the group has led in Princeton, including previous “No Kings,” “Hands Off,” and “ICE Out for Good” rallies. The group also holds regular gatherings on the first Friday of each month along Stockton Street near Monument Park.
Speakers at the March 28 event are expected to include representatives from the ACLU of New Jersey, the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, the League of Women Voters, state Sen. Andrew Zwicker, and U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, as well as student leaders and immigrant rights advocates, according to organizers.
The rally will also feature music, including songs by Bruce Springsteen and Nils Lofgren.
Organizers said the event is intended to bring together community members and advocacy groups around issues related to civil liberties, voting access, and government accountability.
