Call for poets: Mercer County Library System seeks submissions for virtual reading

The Mercer County Library System is inviting local poets to submit their work for its fifth annual “A Poetry Happening: Mercer Poets Read,” a virtual event celebrating creative expression.

Poets of all experience levels are encouraged to submit original poems by April 22 via email to hopeprogs@mcl.org.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to read their work during a live virtual event scheduled for April 29 at 7 p.m.

The program offers a platform for local writers to share their voices with a broader audience and connect with the community through poetry.
