Charles P. McCoy dies at 85

Charles P. McCoy of Kendall Park died surrounded by his loving family on June 12 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was 85.

Born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, he lived most of his life in Kendall Park. Charles was a United States Air Force veteran. He retired in 2006 with over 36 years of service as a sewer utility foreman with the South Brunswick Sewer Department.

Son of the late Patrick and Margaret (Shandrick ) McCoy, husband of the late Patricia Ann (Sannwaldt) McCoy, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Allison McCoy, two daughters and two sons-in-law, Doreen and Greg Eilbacher, Luanne and Dennis Norris, six grandchildren, Christy and husband Chris, C.J. and wife Jessica, Jeff and wife Stephanie, Laura, Kevin, Erin, and nine great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.

The visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
