Registration is now open for the 2026 Mercer County Teen Arts Festival, a one-day celebration of youth creativity. The festival is set for May 8 at Mercer County Community College’s West Windsor campus.

The annual festival gives high school and middle school students from Mercer County’s public, private, parochial, and independent schools a full day of arts immersion. The festival features master classes, workshops and hands-on art-making activities that allow teens to make new connections, learn new artistic skills, and strengthen the skills they already have.

Workshops span multiple disciplines, including media and visual art, dance, drama, vocal and instrumental music, film, and creative writing. Many of the sessions are led by Mercer County Community College faculty members.

Critique sessions are another key part of the day. Experts and teachers will offer students constructive feedback on their work and performances, along with suggestions for future exploration and guidance for academic and career paths in the arts. A select group of students will be invited to present at the State Teen Arts Festival later in the year.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The college is located at 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor. The deadline to register is Feb. 13.

The Teen Arts Festival is presented by Mercer County. Tim Hoh is coordinating the festival for the fourth year.

Students can ask their school administration or arts teachers whether their school is participating. Individual students whose schools are not participating can register online with the permission of a parent or guardian.
