Advent Caroling Protest in Princeton for a Free Palestine

Local members of Christians for a Free Palestine will hold an Advent caroling action on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m. in Palmer Square.

The group is participating in a national boycott action targeting Chevron Corporation. Organizers say the event is part of a broader effort to pressure the company to divest from energy projects in Israel.

The Princeton gathering is being organized by clergy, elders, and members of the New Jersey Coastlands Presbytery and students from Princeton Theological Seminary, in partnership with interfaith groups including Jewish Voice for Peace.

Christians for a Free Palestine describes itself as an ecumenical, nonviolent movement advocating solidarity with Palestinians.
