Get Lit Book Club: Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

To escape her miserable fate as the eldest of three daughters- and one who has attracted the dislike of the witch of the waste- Sophie seeks out the moving castle on the hills. In order to break her curse, she has to learn to manage Howl, the callous Wizard who owns the castle; the fire demon living in his hearth; and his young assistant. All the while she must confront her own self and fate, and eventually, the Witch of the Waste herself. Library staff member Emily will lead the discussion. Suggested age range for this book club: 18-29.
