Join poet and educator Lois Marie Harrod for a one-hour, hands-on workshop exploring the power of “want”—from deep desire to vital need. With just a pen and paper, you’ll read inspiring works and craft your own poems under Harrod’s expert guidance. Known for her rich and evocative voice, Harrod is the author of 18 poetry collections, with her 19th, The Bed the Size of a Small Country, arriving in Fall 2025. Whether you’re new to poetry or a seasoned writer, you’ll leave this session with fresh inspiration—and maybe a poem or two.
