Mithila (Madhubani) painting is a traditional ancient art form originating from the Mithila region of India and Nepal. Known for its intricate detailing, vibrant colors, and symbolic storytelling, this art form has been passed down through generations. Traditionally created by women, the paintings uses natural dyes and handmade materials to depict themes of mythology, nature, and daily life. Today, it serves as a bridge between the past and the present, preserving cultural heritage while embracing modern interpretations.
