Punch and Judy is the Subject of a Talk at the October 26th Meeting of the English-Speaking Union, Princeton Branch

Punch, a red-nosed, humpbacked rascal, his nagging wife, Judy, and a motley assortment of adversaries whom Punch battles with black humor and a big stick, have been regaling British audiences for over 300 years. Sunday’s talk will discuss the history of Punch and his Italian roots, show a few of the puppets and props with photos, and give some sample dialogue.  Audience participation will be encouraged!
