Wendy Grossman at Princeton Folk Music Society – live and live-streamed
December 18 • 8:00 pm

The Princeton Folk Music Society presents an evening of traditional American and British songs and ballads with singer and multi-instrumentalist Wendy Grossman. If you enjoy musicians such as Gordon Bok, Ed Trickett, Archie Fisher, John Roberts and Tony Barrand, Bill Staines, and Stan Rogers, this is for you.
Wendy Grossman traces her connection with folk music to Pete Seeger. She was a full-time folk singer from 1970 to 1983, releasing her Roseville Fair album in 1980. After switching to a career as a journalist and editor, she came back with a new album, The Last Trip Home, in 2024.
Wendy is best known for her unique and very clear arrangements of songs from tradition or written by established folk musicians. Her strong voice and fine chops are true to the material, new or old. She’s completely at home accompanying on guitar, baritone guitar, banjo, autoharp and concertina.
