Dance with the Princeton Folk Dance group. Dance to soulful music from many ethnic groups and countries including Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, and Turkey. Most evenings begin with an hour of teaching. Most of the dances are line dances, so you don't need a partner. Wear comfortable clothing and flat, soft-soled shoes or sneakers. Immerse yourself in the vibrant, dynamic classical dance style of northern India. This dance presentation, performed by Daad Arts - A Performing and Visual Arts Company, takes you on a journey of Kathak and explains the various elements of the dance style. Graceful and elegant, dynamic and enthralling, this form of dance is known for its rhythmic footwork, strong pirouettes, speed and energy. Saturday, October 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. Free and Open to the Public Richard “The Duke” Stockton (1790-1837) wrote proudly of his “cider as fine as wine.” This October, Morven celebrates its second generation of Stocktons with a free family day highlighting Morven’s apple orchards and harvest time activities popular in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
