How to Apply for FEMA Assistance: Important Tips for Mercer Residents, Businesses and Non-Profits
Mercer County residents can register for relief with FEMA by calling 1-800-621-3362 or by visitng www.disasterassistance.gov, and using disaster reference number DR-4021.
You do not have to wait for a disaster recovery center to open, and do not have to be present at a disaster recovery center to apply.
If you still need help with clean up assistance, you can call 2-1-1 and register. The service is available through various volunteer agencies.
Mercer County businesses can contact the Small Business Administration at www.sba.gov or phone 800-659-2955
and refer to SBA Declaration #12780.
Certain non-profit agencies are eligible for relief as well and should submit the “Request For Public Assistance” form available by clicking here. This form must be completed and submitted to the following address to be eligible for follow-up visits and potential reimbursement: Mercer County Office of Emergency Management, 350 Lawrence Station Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
