Princeton Township Police: Lock Your Cars, Garages and Homes

The Princeton Township Police Department is cautioning residents to lock their vehicles, garages and homes because of a string of recent burglaries in neighborhoods along Princeton-Kingston Road.

Police said a series of burglaries have taken place in which thieves targeted unlocked vehicles, garages, and homes.

“Help us, as well as yourselves, by locking your vehicles and homes at night and avoid becoming a victim of opportunity,” police said in a notice to residents. “As always, if you see or hear anything unusual, please contact us immediately.”

In an emergency call 911, and for other matters call the police department main number, (609) 921-2100. Confidential information about crimes can be phoned in to the department’s tip line at (609) 688-2049.
