Cherry Valley Road Speed Limit Reduced
The speed limit on Cherry Valley Road has been reduced from 40 miles an hour to 35 miles an hour, Princeton Township Police have announced.
Police said the change, coordinated with the Montgomery Township Police Department and the New Jersey Department of Transportation, is the result if lengthy discussion and study. Roadway improvements have recently been made in the area and pedestrian walkways have been installed.
Police in Princeton Township and Montgomery Township will be conducting a two-week education campaign that will include the placement of message boards in the area to educate the motoring public about the speed reduction and newly adopted speed limit.
The education campaign is slated to begin on or about Feb. 18th.
