The Princeton Education Foundation presented the school board with a check at the school board meeting Tuesday night.

The Princeton Education Foundation presented the Regional School Board of Princeton with a check for $113,500 at the school board’s monthly public meeting Tuesday night. The nonprofit raises money each year to support local public school initiatives. The funds donated this year will be used for improvements in technology and music and to purchase vocal equipment for the four Princeton elementary schools.

Contributions from several sources comprised the gift to the Princeton Public Schools, including funds from the Princeton Education Foundation, the PowerUp PRS! technology campaign, and two gifts to the Princeton Education Foundation from district parent teacher organizations. The Princeton Education Foundation is overseeing thePowerUp PRS! campaign in concert with the school district.
