The search for a missing West Windsor 5-year-old who is believed to have been abducted by his grandfather on Friday evening continues today, with police focused on the greater New York area.

David Lundy was last seen at an apartment complex at 465 Meadow Road, where police sources say he was living with an aunt. Police believe David Lundy’s grandfather, Morris “Tommy” Lundy, 50, of New York,  abducted the boy in front of the Windsor Woods apartment building around 6:30 p.m. Friday. The apartment complex is located near the Square at West Windsor Shopping Center.

David Lundy is described as a light-skinned African American with short sandy hair. He is approximately 3’4” and weighs 55 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white and green shirt and blue cargo shorts, police said. The boy has severe asthma and it is unclear whether he has his medication with him, police said.

Morris “Tommy” Lundy is described as an African American male, 5’ 10”, 180 pounds, with long black hair and hazel eyes. According to police, the boy was about to be removed from the home he shared with his aunt after the New Jersey’s Department of Youth of Families determined that the aunt and the grandfather were unsuitable guardians.

Anyone with information about the boy or his grandfather, or anyone who thinks they might have seen the pair, should contact the West Windsor Police Department at (609) 799-1222 or 911.
