Princeton Borough Police Blotter
Two British men allegedly stole the decorative wooden cutouts of Albert Einstein and Michelle Obama that are normally on Nassau Street as part of the Princeton Tour Company’s display in front of the Princeton University Store. Just before 2 a.m. Saturday, police spotted Joseph Day, 22, and Hector Lloyd, 24, in the area. The pair was charged with theft, arrested and released.Their court date is July 12.
After a minor accident in the parking lot at 248 Nassau Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday, police discovered that driver was driving while intoxicated. Christopher Gannon, 40, of Skillman was charged with driving while intoxicated.
