Princeton House of Cupcakes Competes for Food Network Fan Favorite Vote

Ron Bzdewka of the House of Cupcakes, which is located on Witherspoon Street in downtown Princeton.

Ron and Ruth Bzdewka, owners of the House of Cupcakes in Princeton, are competing for a chance to appear on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars again.

Each week on Cupcake Wars, four of the country’s top cupcake bakers face off in three elimination challenges until only one decorator remains. The grand prize is $10,000 and the opportunity to showcase their cupcakes. The House of Cupcakes won first prize in the competition in 2011.

The Food Network is planning a fan favorite episode for next season, and has selected 12 fan favorites to vote for, including the House of Cupcakes. Only four of the 12 fan favorites will be selected to compete in the special episode.

Online voting for the top fan favorites opened today and runs through the weekend. You can vote for the House of Cupcakes by going to the Food Network’s Facebook page and liking the photo of Ron Bzedwka. Good luck to Princeton’s house of Cupcakes!

  • Congrats to PHS senior Derek DiGregorio on receiving his diploma last night. Derek, who has a rare genetic disorder, was able to walk with the help of an exoskeleton, with his mom and brother by his side. #princetonproud
