Princeton Community Works to Host 15th Annual Conference for Nonprofits and Volunteers in January

Princeton Community Works, the largest annual training and networking event for nonprofit leader in the Greater Mercer County area, will celebrate its 15th year at the annual conference on Jan. 28 at Princeton University.

The one-night gathering of nonprofit board members, staff, executive directors and volunteers that draws more than 500 participants from nonprofits of all kinds and sizes will be held once again at the Frist Center. The event runs from 5 to 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28 and the registration fee of $35 includes dinner. Support is available for those who can’t afford the registration fee.

Community Works is designed to enable boards, staff and volunteers in the nonprofit community to work together more effectively by networking, developing skills and raising community awareness. There will be an opportunity for networking, a demonstration of management principles and 21 workshops focused on nonprofit needs. Participants may attend two  workshops. Space is limited and workshops will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Early registration is recommended.

Workshops cover a wide range of topics from grantwriting, fundraising, and social media skills to team building strategies.

To register and learn more about the workshops being offered, visit PrincetonCommunityWorks.org. If you have questions about the conference call Marge Smith at (609) 924-8652 or email mlsprin@aol.com.
