Princeton Police Blotter: Cyclist Struck on Harrison Street, Assault at A&B

A bicyclist was struck at the intersection of Harrison Street and Hamilton Avenue yesterday afternoon and had to be treated for minor injuries, police said. Jorge Garzon-Cruz, 33, of Lawrenceville was traveling South on Harrison Street and went to make a left turn onto Hamilton Avenue in his 1988 Honda when Arnulf Jentzen, 30, was traveling north on Harrison on his bicycle. Police said Garzon-Cruz struck Jentzen, who fell and hit his head.  Garzon-Cruz was issued a summons for failing to yield the right of away at an intersection. The cyclist had a small laceration to his forehead and was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro for treatment.

A 27-year-old male was charged with assault after he allegedly punched another male in the face at the A&B just before 2 a.m. on Feb. 2. Anthony Repollet of Rocky Hill allegedly caused several facial injuries to the victim, police said. His court date has been set for Feb. 10.

A woman allegedly stole a $68 dress from the Nassau Street store Nikko Nikko yesterday afternoon. Cecilia Johnson, 19, of Pompton Plains was charged with shoplifting. Her court date is Feb. 10.
