A resident of Hillside Avenue reported that she was the victim of a burglary some time between the afternoon of May 7 and May 9. She said a white male approached her while she was outside her home and offered to sealcoat her driveway. While she was engaged in conversation with him, another person apparently entered the residence and removed a jewelry box containing assorted gold jewelry. The jewelry is estimated to be worth more than $100,000, police said.
The first suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” with a stocky build, driving a silver pickup truck. There is no description available for the second person. Anyone with information on the suspect or who is approached in a similar manner is asked to call the police immediately.
