Landscaper’s Truck Crashes Through Princeton Woman’s Living Room

A 66-year-old woman was sleeping in her living room on the 300 block of Dodds Lane yesterday afternoon when she was awakened by a truck that crashing through her wall.

The truck was a pick up truck belonged to a landscaping company that was completing work across the street. One of the workers was moving it and drove it through the front of her house.

The woman was not injured, but was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro as a precaution, police said.

The 17-year-old worker who had moved the truck fled the scene, police said, and had to be tracked down after the crash. He was charged with being an unlicensed driver and leaving the scene of the accident. Police did not release the name of the landscaping company the teen was working for.
