Downed Wire Leaves Some NJ Transit Customers Stuck on Trains

New Jersey Transit Train Some NJ Transit customers on the Northeast Corridor line have been stranded in trains for more than an hour because of a downed wire.

About 40 minutes after the wired went down, NJ Transit sent out an alert informing Northeast Corridor customers who are traveling inbound(toward Newark/New York from Hamilton and Princeton Junction stations that they must board trains from the outbound track (toward Trenton) due to the downed wire. The alert went out around 8:30 a.m. NJ Transit estimated that trains are subject to delays of up to 60 minutes.
