One Dead After West Windsor Crash

One person is dead after a Honda Odyssey collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle at about 6:15 p.m.  last night at the intersection of Windsor Road and South Lane in West Windsor, police said.

Daniel Rivella, 42, was treated for multiple injuries by the West Windsor Township Division of Fire and Emergency Services, and transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, where he was pronounced dead. The Honda Odyssey driver, Charlotte Hirt, was not injured.

The collision remains under investigation by the West Windsor Township Police Department Traffic Unit and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Response Team. The roadway was closed for approximately two hours and the West Windsor Volunteer Fire Company assisted at the scene with lighting and traffic control.
