Princeton Turkey Trot Road Closures
Five Princeton roads will be closed starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow for the Thanksgiving Princeton Turkey Trot 5K and fun run.
– Mercer Street between Nassau Street and Lovers Lane
– Alexander Street between University Place and Mercer Street
– Springdale Road between Goldman Lane and Mercer Street
– Olden Lane between Goldman Lane and Mercer Street
– College Road between Springdale Road and Alexander Street
Traffic will directed by police officers and cars will be able to pass through when it is safe to do so.
No overnight parking will be allowed in the race area tonight.
You can still register to take part in the Turkey Trot on site at Trinity Church, 33 Mercer Street. The fee is $35. The race begins at 8:30 a.m.
The proceeds support The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, Urban Promise Trenton, Housing Initiatives of Princeton and the Trenton Children’s Chorus. The church is collecting canned goods for the Crisis Ministry food pantry at the event.
Homemade pies and other prizes will be awarded to race winners.
