One of the highlights of every McCarter Theatre production of “A Christmas Carol” is the children’s cast. Fourteen area children play a variety of roles on stage in the Christmas classic written by Charles Dickens. Broadway veteran Graeme Malcolm returns to the role of Ebenezer Scrooge this year to lead a cast of 40 actors, dancers, and singers through this magical holiday tale. The McCarter Theatre production runs through December 29.

“Every year we look forward to the energy and spirit of the children who light up the stage in our much-beloved holiday production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol,” said McCarter Associate Artistic Director Adam Immerwahr.
