81-Year-Old East Windsor Man Missing Since Friday

Phillip Brooks was last seen Friday morning.

New Jersey State Police have  issued a silver alert for an 81-year-old East Windsor man who went missing on Friday.

Phillip R. Brooks, a resident of the Meadow Lakes Retirement Community on Etra Road, was reported missing Saturday night. He was last seen driving a red 2006 Subarau Forrester Wagon from his residence just after 9 a.m. Friday. The license plate for his vehicle is ZTS-47Y.

According to EZ Pass data, Brooks was traveling northbound on the Garden State Parkway at the Cape May Toll Plaza just before 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4.

According to his family, Brooks suffers from dementia, and has recently experienced short-term memory loss and confusion. The family has set up a Facebook page called Find Phil.

Brooks, who has family members in Cranbury, is described as a 5-foot-7 white male with white and balding hair, 160 pounds and last seen wearing glasses, a maroon colored jacket with a gray collar and dark colored pants, and a gold ring on each hand. Anyone who comes in contact with Brooks or the above described vehicle is asked to contact the East Windsor Police Department at (609) 448-5678.
