Flood Watch in Effect for Princeton Area Wednesday Morning Through Thursday Morning
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a flood watch for Mercer County Wednesday morning through Thursday morning.
Between two and four inches of rain is expected to fall over portions of Central New Jersey and Northeast Pennsylvania Wednesday. Pockets of small streams and rivers may flood. Any flooding and river cresting will likely be after the rain ends.
A flood watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. Residents living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action if flooding develops.
We will update this watch as more information becomes available.
