Flood Watch in Effect for Princeton Area Until Late Tonight
The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a flash flood watch for Mercer County until late tonight, May 16.
Periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop this morning and continue into tonight. One to two inches of rainfall is expected. Flash flooding is possible along small rivers and streams.
A flash flood watch means conditions may develop that lead to flash flooding.
The flood watch is in effect for most of eastern Pennsylvania and Central New Jersey, along with other areas southeast of I-295/95.
