The pilot of an ultralight plane suffered minor injuries just before 6 p.m. tonight when he lost control of his plane just after taking off from Princeton Airport.

He landed in a grassy field about 100 yards from the runway and struck a tree, causing the plane to flip over.

The pilot hurt his ankle. First aid workers examined him at the scene and he and declined further medical attention.
