Mercer and Quaker Road Repair Update

roadworkMercer Road work has been completed with the exception of installing the pavement striping, officials announced this afternoon. The pavement striping work has been scheduled for Monday, June 23rd, weather permitting. Straight Edge Striping will be striping Mercer Road from the Lawrence Township line to the Quaker Road intersection. The work is expected to be completed in one day. While the work is taking place, Mercer Road will be closed to through traffic from Province Line Road to Quaker Road. The work hours will be be from approximately 9 a.m. to  7 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the work will take place the next day. The road will be reopened to full two-way traffic at the end of each work day and will remain open until the start of next work day.

The repair of Quaker Road in the area of the D&R Canal is planned to begin on or about June 24th and will take approximately three to four  days to complete.
