Lawrence Building at Princeton University Evacuated Due to Gas Odor

Lawrence Apartments PrincetonA resident in one of the buildings at the Lawrence Apartments at Princeton University reported a gas odor at the building this morning.The apartments are located off of Alexander Road.

Shortly before 10 a.m. the Princeton Fire Department responded after a staff member checked gas levels and called the fire department. Four individuals were evacuated from the building. No injuries were reported. The Department of Public Safety, Site Protection and Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad also responded. PSE&G has been notified and is responding.
